This Week’s Calendar of Activities

Monday, May 14, 2012, 7:00-8:30 PM – Final Mission Bells Rehearsal for the season in the Sanctuary.

Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 6:15-7:15 PM – Saints’ Chorale Rehearsal in the Sanctuary.

Sunday, May 20, 2012, 8:45 AM – Donuts & Coffee Breakfast (provided by Arlene and Lee Leonard), join the informal conversations in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, May 20, 2012, 9:30 AM – Sunday school classes for children and adults. Mark Scherer will answer questions during the Adult Sunday School Class. If you have church history questions that you’d like Mark to address, please email them to Clint Reine ASAP.

Sunday, May 20, 2012, 10:30 AM – Mark Scherer will speak on the theme “Join in Apostolic Witness” with Jennifer Libeer presiding. Jane Landrum will serve as the Worship Commissioner.

Adult Sunday School Schedule:

Here’s the Adult Sunday School class schedule for the upcoming weeks as we continue with the church’s recommended adult curricula: Seasons of the Spirit.

  • May 20 – Mark A. Scherer, guest speaker for Sunday School Class
  • May 27 – “Pentecost” Sunday based on Acts 2:1-21 taught by Norman Bernauer
  • June 3 – “Sensing God” based on Isaiah 6:1-8 taught by Greg Stollsteimer
  • June 10 – “Listening to God” based on 1 Samuel 8:4-11 (12-15), 16-20 (11:14-15) taught by Greg Stollsteimer
  • June 17 – “Seeing Beyond” based on 1 Samuel 15:34-16:13 taught by Jim McLaughlin
  • June 24 – “In Pursuit of Justice” based on 1 Samuel 17: (1a, 4-11, 19-23), 32-49 taught by Jim McLaughlin
