Wednesday, July 4, 2012 10 AM-2 PM – July 4th Picnic On the Lawn with $1 hot dogs, $1 drinks, $.50 chips for sale and inflatables for the children!

Sunday, July 8, 2012, 8:45 AM – Donuts & Coffee Breakfast (Debbie Rushfelt), join the informal conversations in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, July 8, 2012, 9:30 AM –Sunday school classes for Children & Adults meet.

Sunday, July 8, 2012, 10:30 AM – Clint Reine will speak on the theme “Proclaim the Good News” with Jim McLaughlin presiding. Val Anderson will serve as the Worship Commissioner.

Sunday, July 8, 2012 after church – Farewell Potluck dinner to say goodbye to the Parrish Family (Craig, Lana, Brett, Alyssa and Austin are moving to California). Bring a dish to share.

Thursday, July 11, 2012, 7:00 PM – All Good Books group will meet at the Leawood Pioneer Library (in the meeting room) to discuss “The Tiger’s Wife” by Tea Obreht.

Here’s the Adult Sunday School class schedule for the upcoming weeks as we continue with the church’s recommended adult curricula: Seasons of the Spirit.

  • July 8 – “Partners in Ministry” based on Mark 6:1-13 taught by Jane Landrum
  • July 15 – “Brought Together” based on Ephesians 1:3-14 taught by Jim McLaughlin
  • July 22 – “Vision of Unity” based on Ephesians 2:11-22 taught by Jim McLaughlin
  • July 29 – “God Is With Us” based on John 6:1-21 taught by Jim McLaughlin
  • August 5 – “Unity in Community” based on Ephesians 4:1-16 taught by KC Stangel
  • August 12 – “Christ-like Living” based on Ephesians 4:25-5:2 taught by KC Stangel
  • August 19 – “Living Wisdom” based on Ephesians 5:15-20 taught by Paul Bennetts
  • August 26 – “Strengthen and Equipped” based on Ephesians 6:10-20 taught by Paul Bennetts
