March 10, 2013 – Wrap-up Session – All Teaching Team Members

Next on the Adult Sunday School class agenda are two texts that the World Church is recommending. Both are suggested for delegates or those attending the World Conference or the USA National Conference as well as congregational study. The publications are:

  • “Christ’s Mission Is Our Mission: An Exploration of Luke 4:16-30” with six lessons by Peter A. Judd
  • “Signal Communities…Live Christ’s Mission” with six lessons, each with a different author.

We’ll have copies of the first text (“Christ’s Mission Is Our Mission”) available this Sunday, March 10 during the Adult Class Hour. The cost is $12, so class members are encouraged to take a copy and add the cost of the text to their regular congregational offering.

Our plan is to cover each of the six lessons in one Sunday class session. After finishing the “Christ’s Mission” text, we’ll spend the next 6 Sundays studying the “Signal Communities” text. Copies of “Signal Communities” will be available as we near completion of the first text. We have some special events (conferences and Easter) coming up so, here’s the planned schedule.
