Thursday, April 11, 2013, 7:00 PM – All Good Books club meets at the Leawood Pioneer Library (4700 Town Center Drive, Leawood, KS) in the Meeting Room, to discuss “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” by Jamie Ford.

Sunday, April 14, 2013, No services or classes at Mission Road. All members are encouraged to attend the World Conference Communion Service at 10 AM in the Conference Chamber (Auditorium, Independence, MO) and/or the 7:00 PM First Presidency’s World Conference Worship in the Conference Chamber (Auditorium); both services will be broadcast by live webcast at www.CofChrist.org.

Sunday, April 21, 2013, 8:45 AM – Donuts & Coffee Breakfast (Marge & John Trinkl), join the informal conversations in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, April 21, 2013, 9:30 AM – Sunday School Classes for children and adults.

– Final Pre-Baptismal Class for Children (all children invited) in the Children’s Library.

– “Christ’s Mission Is Our Mission” Adult Class in the Church Library.

Sunday, April 21, 2013, 10:30 AM – Two new members will be baptized and confirmed. Jonathan Bacon and Robin Payne will offer the baptismal message and speak on the theme “Alive in the Lord” with Ron Millard presiding. Jonathan will also serve as Worship Planner and the Mission Bells will provide the ministry of music.

Sunday, April 21, 2013, 11:30 AM – Potluck to celebrate the baptisms. Everyone come to welcome our two new members and bring your favorite dish, dessert or salad to share.
