THIS WEEK’S CALENDAR: June 3-10, 2013

Sunday, June 9, 2013, 8:45 AM – Donuts & Coffee Breakfast (Eloise and John Snider), join the informal conversations in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, June 9, 2013, 9:30 AM – Sunday School Classes for children and adults.

  • Pre-Teen (8 and older) Children’s Sunday School Class will meet in the downstairs classroom (just to the right when you arrive at the foot of the stairs) – 9:30 to 10:15 AM
  • God’s Kids (4-7 years old) will meet in the Children’s Library – 9:30 to 10:15 AM
  • Adult Class will meet in the Church Library

Sunday, June 9, 2013, 10:30 AM – Jane Landrum will speak on the theme “Respond in Faith” with Brad Anderson presiding. Debbie Rushfelt will serve as worship planner. Jane Landrum will offer the ministry of music.

Thursday, June 13, 2013, 6:00 PM All Good Books group will meet in the Church Library for a potluck and viewing of the movie “Cloud Atlas.” If you haven’t read the book, you’re encouraged to do so (but it’s not required to attend).  

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE

Starting this Sunday, the Adult Class will begin studying “Signal Communities…Reflect Christ’s Peace” (a text recommended by the World Church). Copies are available on the table in the Fellowship Hall. Take a copy and if you’re able, please add the $12 cost to their regular congregational offering.

The schedule for the next few weeks follows:

June 9, 2013: Session 1 Signal Communities – Reflect Christ’s Peace – instructor:  Jerry Rushfelt

June 16, 2013: Session 2 Signal Communities – Embracing Continuing Revelation – instructor: Jim McLaughlin

June 23, 2013: Session 3 Signal Communities – Make Responsible Choices – instructor: Greg Stollsteimer

July 7, 2013: Session 5 Signal Communities – Honor the Sacredness of Creation – instructor: Avis Garrett-Baptist

 

July 14, 2013: Session 6 Signal Communities – Speak and Live Christ’s Mission – instructor: Jennifer Libeer
