ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE
The adult class has begun studying “The Journey of a People” by Church Historian Mark A. Scherer (on the first and second Sundays of each month) and also focusing on “Investigating the Book of Mormon” (on the third, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month).
Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 9:30 AM – the class will continue discussion of the Book of Mormon focusing on the purpose and provenance of the book. Jonathan Bacon will lead this class. During the class we’ll discuss the “10 things” about the Book of Mormon on which both protagonists and antagonists generally agree. Please bring your Book of Mormon (we’ll review some portions of the “Book of Mosiah”). For those who have the Alan D. Tyree text (“Millions Call It Scripture: The Book of Mormon in the 21st Century”) read chapter 3. If you have the Luffman book (“The Book of Mormon’s Witness to Its First Readers”), please read chapter 3.
