Saturday, March 1, 2014 – Mission Bells will Ring in the Spring! Five members of the Mission Bells will participate in the “Ring in the Spring” festival at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe. Leawood, Kansas. As part of the festival, there will be a free concert at 3 PM in the youth auditorium with approximately 300 handbell ringers playing together!

Sunday, March 2, 2014, 8:45 AM – Donuts & Coffee Breakfast (Ron Millard), join the informal conversations in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, March 2, 2014, 9:30 AM – Sunday School Classes for children and adults. • God’s Kids will meet in the Children’s Library – 9:30 to 11:30 AM. • Pre-Teen class will meet in a downstairs classroom – 9:30 to 10:15 AM. • Adult Class will meet in the Church Library – 9:30 to 10:15 AM.

Sunday, March 2, 2014, 10:30 AM – Jennifer Libeer will speak on the theme “Do Not Be Afraid” and Kennetha Kuttler will preside. Jonathan Bacon will serve as worship planner. Ministry of Music will be provided by Jean Bink and Susan Clark.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE

After a presentation (slideshow) by Norman Bernauer on Book of Mormon archeology, the adult Sunday school class will return to a discussion of the “Book of Ether” from The Book of Mormon. The class will do a critical reading of the text and focus on “does this book convey the message of the church today?” Jonathan Bacon will lead the class discussion this Sunday. Bring your Book of Mormon and read through the “Book of Ether.” You can skim the “begats” (Ether 1:6-7).

ALL GOOD BOOKS GROUP
The next meeting of the All Good Books Club will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Leawood Pioneer Library (4700 Town Center Drive, Leawood, KS) to discuss The Silver Star by Jeannette Walls.
