WE’RE ALL ON THE JOURNEY

Whether you are packing a suitcase in preparation to attend World Conference or you are deciding how many live webcasts to watch from your home, we are all on this journey to Conference together.

This week we invite you to hold all those who will be traveling over the next few weeks in your prayers. Below are three simple travelers’ prayers from a variety of sources that you can use in addition to your own prayers.

Orthodox Christian Prayer

“Be mindful, O Lord, of those who travel by land, by sea, and by air; of the old and young, the sick, the suffering, the sorrowing, the afflicted, the captives, the needy and the poor; and upon them all send forth Thy mercies, for Thou art the Giver of all good things. Amen.“

Anglican Prayer

“O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.“

Source Unknown

“Lord, be our guide and our protector on the journey we are about to take.

Watch over us. Protect us from accidents.

Keep us free from harm to body and soul.

Lord, support us with Your grace when we are tired.

Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way.

Keep us always mindful of Your presence and love. Amen.“

MISSED LAST SUNDAY’S SERVICE?

Would you like to hear the message from last Sunday or a Sunday service from 3 years ago? Audio recordings of many of the last several years’ worth of worship services are available online at https://goo.gl/wREl03. Note this is a new shortened URL that will take you to a Google Drive with many of the recordings from the past.

Recordings are located in folders corresponding to the year (2015, 2016, and so on).

If you missed a Sunday, this provides you a way to hear the music and the message.

The beginning numbers of each filename indicate the date of the service.

The first 4 digits represent the year, the next two digits indicate the month

and last two digits represent the day of the month.

In most cases, the date is followed by a dash and then the first initial and

last name of the speaker. Enjoy!

NOTE: If you experience problems playing these audio files be sure you’re running the latest version of your browser or try a different browser. In some cases, you may be required to download the audio file before playing it.

Some of the recent audio recordings are listed below:
