ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE
This Sunday, May 4, 2014, the Adult Sunday School Class will resume a critical reading and discussion of the Book of Ether from the “Book of Mormon.” We’ll start with Ether 1:16. Some of the issues we’ll discuss are: Was the Ether 1:20 prophesy regarding a “choice land” fulfilled? Was the prophesy for our time or Jared’s? We’ll also discuss God, the meaning of heaven and hell, reward and punishment, and whether/how God rewards and punishes nations. If you have a chance, the class was encouraged to view the movie “Buck” about the Horse Whisperer and be prepared to discuss the theme of the movie as it relates to a heavenly parent, reward and punishment.

The first 4 digits represent the year, the next two digits indicate the month and last two digits represent the day of the month. In most cases the date is followed by a dash and then the first initial and last name of the speaker.

Podcasts from previous years are located in folders corresponding to the year (2005, 2006, 2007, and so on). If you missed a Sunday, this provides you a way to hear the music and the message.

ALL GOOD BOOKS GROUP
The next meeting of the All Good Books Club will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Leawood Pioneer Library (4700 Town Center Drive, Leawood, KS) to discuss The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson.
