Sunday, May 11, 2014, 10:30 AM –Jonathan Bacon will speak on the theme “Embody Sacred Community” and Jeremy Strom will preside. Linda Dayton will serve as worship planner. The Ministry of Music will be offered by the Saints Chorale.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE
This Sunday, May 11, 2014, the Adult Sunday School Class will continue a critical reading and discussion of the Book of Ether from the “Book of Mormon.” We’ll start with Ether 1:34. Some of the issues we’ll discuss are: the locale of “the choice land” mentioned in verse 35, the name of the Brother of Jared, the vessels used to travel across the seas, and the “Fall” of man. Tentatively we’ll view portions of the movie “Buck” (the inspiration for the movie The Horse Whisperer) and be prepared to discuss the movie as it relates to our heavenly Parent, reward and punishment.

Podcasts from previous years are located in folders corresponding to the year (2005, 2006, 2007, and so on). If you missed a Sunday, this provides you a way to hear the music and the message.

ALL GOOD BOOKS GROUP
The next meeting of the All Good Books Club will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Leawood Pioneer Library (4700 Town Center Drive, Leawood, KS) to discuss The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson.
