CHURCH ART GROUP RESUMES!
The Church Art Group hosted by Avis Garrett-Baptist will resume starting Sunday, May 3, 2015. The session runs from 6-9 PM at the home of Avis and Jeremy Baptist. You don’t have to be an artist to attend, come and discover your artistic skills!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Plans are in the works for Vacation Bible School (VBS) in July 2015. The exact date is not finalized. Please talk to Karen Birkby if you are interested in assisting with VBS in any capacity.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE
Starting next Sunday, May 3, the Adult Sunday School class will begin studying Mark Scherer’s “The Journey of a People: The Era of Reorganization, 1844 to 1946.” If you have Volume 2, please read the first The Introduction, and Chapters 1 and 2 (“Aftermath of Assassination” and “Restoring the Family to Nauvoo”). Jane Landrum will be teaching the class On Sunday, May 3 and 10.
BLOOD DRIVE
Allie Libeer and three of her friends are organizing a blood drive to be held in the church fellowship hall on Sunday, May 24 beginning at 12:30 PM fulfilling a required committee service project for school. If it is your practice to donate blood please consider supporting them on the 24th.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Please remember to talk to Karen Birkby about how you’d like to assist with vacation Bible school. It will be held the evenings of July 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2015. Please add these dates to your calendar.
YOUTH CAMP REGISTRATIONS AND REUNIONS
The youth camp registration forms and booklets are on the table in the fellowship hall next to the bulletin board. All forms are due on May 1. Also, reunion registration forms are on the table as well.

Please contact Arlene Leonard if you are willing and able to help make meals for those in our congregation in need of this kind of ministry.

The beginning numbers of each filename indicate the Sunday of the podcast. The first 4 digits represent the year, the next two digits indicate the month and last two digits represent the day of the month. In most cases, the date is followed by a dash and then the first initial and last name of the speaker.
Podcasts from previous years are located in folders corresponding to the year (2005, 2006, 2007, and so on). If you missed a Sunday, this provides you a way to hear the music and the message.
NEXT ALL GOOD BOOKS CLUB MEETING
The next meeting of the All Good Books group will meet in the Church Library on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM to meet Dr. William Reed and discuss his book "The Pulse of Hope: A Surgeon’s Memoirs from Poverty to Prosperity."
"The Pulse of Hope" is available at Rainy Day Books but does not seem to be available in local libraries or on Amazon.
