ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULE

The Adult Sunday School class is studying Mark Scherer’s “The Journey of a People: The Era of Reorganization, 1844 to 1946.” On Sunday, the class will finish the discussion of Chapter 9 (“Institutional Development”) and begin discussing Chapter 10 (”The Move to Lamoni: One Step Closer to Zion”). Jane Landrum will lead the class discussion.

BOOK CLUB MEETING THIS WEEK

The next meeting of the All Good Books discussion group is scheduled this Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Church Library. At that time we’ll discuss “The Goldfinch” by Donna Tartt.

It is a lengthy book, 771 pages, so start reading soon! We look forward to discussing this 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Literature book.

WEDDING SHOWER ANNOUNCEMENT (Note Time Change)

A wedding shower will be held on August 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM for Alisa Morse and Bill Johnson in the church library. Please plan to attend.

Thursday, July 9, 2015, 7:00 PM – All Good Books group meets in the Church Library to discuss “The Goldfinch” by Donna Tartt.

Sunday, July 12, 2015, 9:00 AM – Breakfast (Karen and Larry Birkby), come and join us for conversation and fellowship.

Sunday, July 12, 2015, 9:30 AM – Sunday School Classes for children and adults.

· Nursery available – 9:30-11:30 AM in downstairs Nursery.

· Children’s Sunday School class – 9:30-10:15 AM taught by Robin Payne

· God’s Kids – 9:30-11:30 AM – Children’s Library (First Sunday of the Month Only)

Sunday, July 12, 2015, 10:30 AM – Brian Libeer will speak on the theme “Set Your Hope on Christ ” with Jennifer Libeer presiding. Jennifer will also serve as worship planner. Steve Constance and Richard Emslie will offer the ministry of music.

(There will be no Prayer Circle on Wednesday, July 15 because of VBS).

· 6:30 PM Children’s activities and Adult Hymn Fest (learn new hymns from “Community of Christ Sings!”) begin

· 7:00-8:00 PM Special presentations for the adults

· 8:00 PM Nightly Wrap-up session

The beginning numbers of each filename indicate the Sunday of the audio recordings. The first 4 digits represent the year; the next two digits indicate the month and last two digits represent the day of the month. In most cases, the date is followed by a dash and then the first initial and last name of the speaker.

Audio recordings from previous years are located in folders corresponding to the year (2005, 2006, 2007, and so on). If you missed a Sunday, this provides you a way to hear the music and the message.
